John, I play DMB and PB and both do a good job with stats. Perfect? No. Does the best team win and the lousy teams finish last? Usually.

Now that the traditional leagues are done, you could go though all the leagues, look at a player such as Abreu or , get an ave. of his stats for all the leagues, and find that his overall OPS is ± 10%(more likely -15%, + 5%) of actual. Do the same thing for 10 players and I'd guess they as a group would be ± 5%(more likely -8%, + 2%).

The one advantage I have with DMB is that I can replay a season in 10 minutes. Thus you can replay 10 season in a couple hours, compile all the stats, then check the numbers. What you notice with DMB(& PB as well) is that looking at 10 seasons of a players stats result in some seasons with large fluctuations, up to a 20% change on OPS.

The one item that I would like to see in PB would be a master stat sheet that would show a players ave. from all the traditional leagues. While it wouldn't actually help your Abreu with his .750 OPS, it would be nice to see that all Abreu's are ave. 860 OPS.
