Should one-game playoffs alwasy go to a managed team?
In Trad1 98 one managed and one unmanaged team tied for their division, and had to play a one game playoff. The managed team lost, which I think is really unfortunate for a few reasons, and would like to see a rule change where the first tiebreaker for making the playoffs or getting home field is if the team is actually owned.
To be blunt, its a slap in the face to an owner who actually is paying for the game, and will be paying the coming month as well, to not get to be in the playoffs in lieu of an unmanaged team - particularly as one-game playoffs are basically coin-flips. If it comes down to a one game playoff, have Tech run the game until the managed team wins - that way there is usage for the team, but they get to actually move on.
It is also more interesting for the other playoff teams, as they get to prepare and play a real owner.

PS - I just think the time has come for PB to stop helping out unmanaged teams at the expense of managed ones - the playoffs shouldn't go to an unmanaged team in the case of a tie; let unmanaged teams draft by getting the highest PB value available, not with a list that is based on other judgements; I'd even let teams play their road games against unmanaged team if possible. Its time to stop worrying about future customers (that PB is not actively doing anything about to find or encourage) and focus on the current ones.
