Opposite view - I like when unmanaged teams are competitive. If unmanaged teams can make trades, make the playoffs, etc., then leagues with 3-5 unmanaged teams will still be enjoyable.

When you really look at a season, you play your games vs. the robot, you have the robot play your games on the road, why not have the robot win. Having a strong computer opponent greatly makes up for not having a human opponent.
