Mutuals vote TRI-World Series MVPs :
Trout, Kershaw and Freddie Freeman, all of Danville deserve the award together.
In one of the biggest mismatches in PB history, The Mutuals succumbed finally to what was well known among New York fans....this was not going to be the Cinderella story with the happy ending.
Somehow we got this far with barely enough warm bodies to fill out a lineup...Losing 18-1 in game 4 was the low point of the season...
REGULAR season Co-MVPs were Julio Teheran (22-8 3.12) and Jose Bautista (.290-20-92).

Game 149...Lucas 3 run PH HR is walk-off winner...

Mutuals open at home with slugfest win over Holy Bull! Adopt Fenway as home parkOpening series goes 4-1 for Mutuals over tough Holy Bull as Teheran goes 2-0 in relief despite 6.75 ERA! Andrus 9 for 20.
FENWAY:
Its not often an available venue but fits this team to a T. Fenway is not a HR park for LHB and most of Mutual's bop comes from right side. Fenway favors 2b and 3b and run scoring in general and is my favorite PB park overall.
Opening 5 games:
Salazar to get a start vs. Cinn.
NY will treat first series like a playoff match up as they gauge their worthiness for a run in Speaker 3!
Game 1: 9-4 with many starters used in relief. Latos started but Teheran got win. Victorino and VMart were hitting heroes.

No longer hoping to compete this season the Mutuals remade themselves by trading Chris Sale and Kemp plus lesser players and their 2 top FA picks....

INN C Navarro's 2 run HR in 7th of game 5 averts sweep of Newtown!
Just added to the roster before the season, INN C Navarro beats NY with a clutch HR. Great game to end what was an exciting first series at Coors. This was the initial home series at the vaunted offensive ballpark located at the intersection of 20th and Blake for new S3 franchise named the New York Mutuals.

Carlos Lee wins 1b job and to bat #2 versus RHP!
Look for Kipnis and Predes to appear versus tough RHP. C will be a straight platoon for the most part but Hundley will face RHP that are tough on LHB. Mayberry and Guzman will sub for Gordon and Bruce only against RHP which KILLS lefty batters. Parmelee looks like strictly a PH.
