June 22, 2020 - Stars No-Hit Connecticut in a 15-0 Rout!
Four Pitchers (Tyler Glasnow, Kevin Gausman, Carlos Martinez, and Liam Hendricks) combined to throw the NO-NO. No walks were issued by Stars' pitching and the only blemish in the game was a hit batter by Gausman in the 7th inning. The Stars belted 7 homers in the home town romp!
April 2020 - Huntington Ready to Defend Its Title and Go For Three In A Row!
The Boys are ready to go for a third consecutive ring this year, but to accomplish that they will have to outlast other great teams. Management believes that the club is capable of going all the way again, but of course nothing is certain in the Grand Ol Game. One thing is certain. The Stars will be back in the playoffs come November!
Good luck to all this season!

December 12, 2019 - Stars Win Consecutive Titles
The Stars held the talented Milwaukee Grays offense to 4 hits in the 4-1 Game 6 victory. It was not easy as the Grays are a great team with immense firepower. Kudos to Dave and his Milwaukee boys for a thrilling series.
Interesting stat: The Stars did not hit a home run in the 6 game series. Milwaukee hit only two. Wow!
The Stars are fortunate to win two titles in a row despite not having a legitimate No. 1 starter. Now management has to figure out a way to better the team for a run at a third consecutive ring in 2020.

December 16, 2018 - Stars Win Unlikely Championship!
The Stars went into the season with modest expectations. With a good hitting club but no real staff Ace management was hopeful of just making the playoffs. But the team surprised everyone by storming through the playoffs while beating three division winners in a significant fashion.
The club was pushed to a 7th game in the World Series, but SP Carlos Martinez pitched what was probably his best game of the season, firing a complete game 7-hitter in an 8-0 win over the Wisconsin Wall Bangers.
Series Batting MVP was shared by 2nd Joe Panik (.538 BA), LF Trey Mancini (.448 BA), and 3rd Anthony Rendon (.400 BA, 9 RBI). The Stars scored 54 runs in the 7 games while batting .303 as a team. Martinez took home pitching honors with a 2-1 record and a 1.37 ERA.
Congrats to Wisconsin for a high scoring and thrilling 7 Game Championship series.

March 2018 - Stars Season Outlook
The Stars head into the season with modest expectations. The offense should be productive with C Gary Sanchez, 1st Eric Hosmer, 2nd Cesar Hernandez, 3rd Anthony Rendon, and CF Christian Yelich in the lineup each game. The starting pitching is iffy with no real ace on the staff. Carlos Martinez, Dylan Bundy, Masahiro Tanaka, Danny Duffy, and Tanner Roark taking the ball every five days.
The team could challenge for a playoff spot or be a middle of the road team. They are one ace starting pitcher from being a solid contender capable of going all the way.
