OK, we went 2 out of 3 to finally decide this issue that has two solid camps, one on each side of the aisle. One of us won the tug of war, the other the arm wrestling and neither could climb the rope, so it came down to a coin flip! Here it is and write it in stone: The active roster size for games will be 28 unless Ohtani is active in both role for a series and then it is 29! If he is active for only pitching or hitting then the roster size is 28. The decision is final and "heads" won. Jim C & Mike B

To all PB managers: All players fall into three categories: 1. Regular full-time players get their SUBJ ratings from Baseball Savant. 2. Some semi regular players get some of their SUBJ ratings from Baseball Savant and other ratings form a variety of sources like the next category. 3. Rookies and very parttime players (in the previous season) get rated using a variety of measures. Triples per PA, SBA per PA, assists per INN, former ratings count for a lot, as well as anything we can glean from baseball news sources.
